Why an ORB blog? (Official launch March 3rd!)

What if the blog format could be used for good? To both bring people together as a community AND as a method of outreach?

*REGULAR POSTS OF ORB HAPPENINGS/TALKS

You could log in daily to watch youtube videos and mp3s of talks, sermons, High school games, YAG retreat clips, etc. Or look at photos from various ORB events.

*DISPLAY THE COMMUNITY'S TALENTS

You would also regularly see the amazing things that come out of the ORB Community. Posts of other people's art, poems, photography, songs, short stories, etc etc. Do you want to write a "journal entry" about a thought you have had about God and your high school experience? Or a philosophical argument you had in your head? Or advice about relationship problems? Let me know!

*WAYS TO SERVE

The blog could also provide links every so often to good causes and nonprofit groups, or have posts from people that recently came back from mission trips or service projects.

Submit poems, art, songs, photography, youtube videos, etc you've done! The moderator will go through the stuff and post!

You got the idea! Right now we are especially looking for PHOTOS FROM RECENT ORB EVENTS, Dominican Republic, SWANN! Does a DR person want to write a blog post about their trip (with pictures)? Let me know!
